On April 5, 100K people came together in solidarity in Boston to stand strong against the current administration's tyrannical attacks on our communities and values.
As the threat of the Insurrection Act looms, it's important we build on that unity and strengthen connections within our local communities and across organizations.
After all, it was the local people of the towns of Lexington, Concord, Lincoln, Arlington, and others who led the revolution against a tyrant king, long before the Second Continental Congress united the states and sent aid to Boston.
Therefore, Mass 50501 calls on the people of Massachusetts to harness the energy of April 5 and direct it locally on April 19th. We urge as many New Englanders as possible taking action across the entire state - so we invite and encourage you to join these events put on by other incredible organizations.
See you out there!

FAQ
-
Marathon weekend always presents logistical challenges in Greater Boston. This year, the addition of the 250th anniversary of Lexington and Concord dramatically increases those challenges. The resulting transportation struggles, elevated security concerns, and lack of available locations led us to decide not to hold a dedicated central event on the 19th.
-
We align our movement with the birth of American liberty - and we do not want to be seen as protesting the events of Lexington and Concord, regardless of who is in attendance. In addition, the logistical challenges mentioned above would be even more pronounced in the small suburban towns of Lexington and Concord.
-
50501 is a distributed organization. While we take guidance on events and messaging from the national team, we have a responsibility to interpret their direction in a way that works best for the people of Massachusetts.
-
We are currently making preparations for our next mass mobilization. We'll share our next call to action as soon as we can.

We recommend focusing on positive messages of change that represent the America that we are fighting to protect and progress, not attacks on individuals.
